Silvia is the President of the Swiss Insurtech Hub and a senior executive at Aon Climate (Aon plc): a global business to develop new solutions through innovation at scale to enhance resilience and accelerate investments in climate transition.

Previously Silvia hold executive global roles in insurance and banking, in client portfolio growth and management, corporate development and new venture creation, based in London, New York, Hong Kong, Zürich.

MBA from Columbia Business School and MBA from London Business School. She is passionate about innovation, climate, behavioural psychology and neuroscience.

Summit Moderator

Silvia is a Co-Founder and the Chief of Staff of the Swiss InsurTech Hub, and an executive within Group Operations and Technology at Zurich Insurance Company, driving transformation and change management programs, as well as business process reengineering projects hence helping functions of the Group in operationalizing their business needs.

Silvia holds a PhD in Solid State Physics from the Swiss Technology Institute in Zurich.

She finds it extremely rewarding and energizing when she sees the passion for a common vision through the eyes of other enthusiastic people, both professionally and privately.

Deloitte has authored a new study in cooperation with the Swiss InsurTech network. This session will present results of the study conducted and compare expectations and needs of insurers regarding technology advancement in their companies with the current InsurTech offer.

Marc is a Partner in Deloitte’s Risk Advisory practice and a member of the Financial Services leadership team at Deloitte in Switzerland. Within Deloitte Switzerland he is in charge of Risk, Regulatory, Compliance and Transformation topics for Financial Services.

Marc holds a PhD degree in Bank Management, Finance, Risk & Regulatory Management from the University of Basel.

He has over 20 years of experience in the global Financial Services sector, as well as a solid background in Strategy and Management which he gained from working at a number of leading global consulting firms.

Fabienne is a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Financial Services Transformation practice in Zurich. She qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant and has accounting and auditing experience on national and international engagements, mainly in the banking and financial service industry.

Fabienne’s main focus and expertise was on the Internal Audit clients as well as Anti-Money Laundering and Banking Compliance engagements. Furthermore, Fabienne has extensive experience in co-sourcing within Internal Audit departments for a major Swiss bank and insurance company.

Saskia is a Manager in Deloitte’s Financial Services Transformation practice in Zurich. She qualified as a Swiss Certified Public Accountant, and she has more than 8 years of experience with auditing and advising national and international financial service providers, mainly in the banking and insurance industry.

Saskia has developed expertise in the areas of financial crime prevention, risk and controls assessments, and operational risk management. In addition to this, she also focuses on the provision of Internal Audit co-sourcing services and the review and optimization of risk and compliance frameworks.

Ravina is the Co-Founder of Enterprise Bot and heads the company’s growth. As a passionate entrepreneur, she excels in understanding clients’ needs and providing suitable and high-quality solutions within a limited time.

Due to her profound knowledge in the tech field and charismatic personality, Ravina has succeeded in signing multiple contracts for the company.

She draws her experience from founding and leading several successful startups in the past, through which she was able to build a strong network of connections.

She was featured on the Forbes list of top women-led startups globally by Women Who Tech, Washington and was one of the finalists for the top 10 women-led startups across Europe in 2018.

Roi Tavor is the Managing Director of the region Switzerland and Austria at Google Cloud as of June 2022.

Roi joined Google Cloud in Zurich as Head of Financial Services in November of 2021; in this role Roi led the sales activities for financial services companies and engages with numerous global banks and insurance companies based in Switzerland to strategically drive cloud adoption, support the industry’s digital transformation and enhance customer satisfaction.

Roi has more than 15 years of financial services experience as an entrepreneur and as a senior executive at Google and Swiss Bank Julius Baer.

Before Roi joined Google Cloud, he co-founded Nummo, a data-driven open banking application for the US market. Prior to that Roi spent over a decade with bank Julius Baer, where he served as one of the firm’s senior executives and a member of the Management Advisory Board. As Managing Director he held various positions including Deputy Region Head Intermediaries and Head Intermediaries Americas and Africa.

Roi is an attorney and graduated from the University of Basel in Switzerland with a law degree in 2002. He also holds a Master’s of Laws (LL.M.) degree from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York City.

In his free time Roi enjoys swimming, squash and classical music, and as a husband and father of a daughter and two sons he is spending a lot of time with his family.

With more than a decade of experience in Specialty risk business, Raphael held various roles in his area of expertise, not only in brokerage firms, but on the insurer side.

His current focus is on helping to bring profound cyber risk awareness to companies across the board in this ever-evolving space.

By doing so, he builds up and maintains relationships with C-Suites and supports the risk transfer process and beyond.

In charge of Corporate Development and M&A at Vaudoise Assurances since 2019, Stefan also takes care of investments into start-ups. Among else, he is a Board member of Neocredit AG and Berninvest AG, both subsidiaries of Vaudoise.

Before joining Vaudoise, for 20 years, Stefan was active as a financial analyst on the sell-side covering the insurance sector in Switzerland and Europe as well as the real estate sector in Switzerland and MENA. He worked for different banks, Vontobel AG and Credit Agricole Cheuvreux in Zurich, EFG-Hermes in Dubai and Pictet & Cie in Geneva.

As an insurance analyst he was rated best analyst in Switzerland among all sectors in 2003. Furthermore, he was active for the Finance chapter of the Geneva Association between 2002 and 2010 and in 2006 wrote a paper on “reputation of the insurance industry from an investor’s perspective”.

Stefan started his career in 1994 at Swiss Life in Zurich and was active in Group Planning and Controlling. In addition to his Masters in Business Administration at H.E.C. Lausanne in 1993, Stefan trained at the Board Academy (Fast Track) at EPFL in 2018 and completed the Bern-Rochester CAS for Board Members in 2022

Stephanie Lloyd is the CEO of LiveWell by Zurich where she is responsible for leading a new digital health and wellbeing solution globally.

With a focus on customer obsession and innovation, Stephanie is passionate about positively impacting health outcomes worldwide.

Prior to this role Stephanie Lloyd was the Founder and President of the digital insurance brand Toggle®, which has grown to $50m in premium since launching in late 2018.

She has a proven track record in launching new business models and products, navigating through complex regulatory environments, and building high-performing teams.

An insurance industry professional with 15+ years of experience, Stephanie is a member of the Zurich Group Leadership team.

Digital Insurance honored Stephanie with the 2019 Woman in Insurance Leadership award which recognizes excellence across technology and business. She was also a finalist for the 2019 Future is Female award by AdWeek.

In 2021 she was selected for the Leadership in the Age of Personalization consortium.

Moderator

Massimo has worked ten years in management consulting for financial services with McKinsey & Co and 15 years Managing Director of subsidiaries/country business units of the Generali Group, the Axa Group and the Allianz Group in France, Belgium and Italy.

Over his career, he has been serving in over 35 Boards of Directors in several European countries and in Africa.

He is an expert in Corporate Governance, Risk and Innovation and operates as “CEO and Board Advisor”. He is also Executive President of CINEAS, a University consortium founded by the Politecnico of Milan, member of research centres and of Insurers’ Innovation Boards, mentor of start ups, member of the Italian Insurtech Association, co-founder of the Swiss Insurtech Hub and author of books and articles.

He holds a degree from Bocconi University and and MBA from Insead.

Acknowledge the innovator who is bringing a fresh perspective on solving the pressing issues that insurers are facing today as well as solutions that can open new horizons for them.

Florian Schreiber studied at leading universities in Germany, Switzerland, and the US.

His research and consulting activities focus on the digitalization of the insurance industry, insurance benchmarking, behavioral insurance, insurance regulation, as well as on selected topics in life and health insurance, insurance economics, performance measurement, retirement planning and corporate finance.

After receiving his doctorate, Dr. Schreiber was a project manager and post-doctoral researcher at the Institute of Insurance Economics at the University of St.Gallen.

Since 2019, he has been Professor and Insurance Lead at the Institute of Financial Services Zug IFZ at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. There, he also serves as editor of the IFZ Insurance Insights Blog, as director of the executive education program CAS Future of Insurance, and as Head of Program of the Master of Science in Banking and Finance.

Head of Personal Customer Innovation at Zurich Switzerland with 15+ years of experience in the insurance industry. Together with his team, Tim is working on new products, services and business models within the areas of mobility and living.

He is skilled within various business domains across the value chain of primary insurances with a strong background in product and proposition management, portfolio management, direct business and partnerships.

Tim is a design thinker and an implementation-oriented strategist and doer. He is passionate about developing new customer-centric and value-adding solutions which expand beyond traditional propositions. Together with his team, he is also responsible for running the local CH round of the Zurich Innovation Championship.

Alessandro Paoli is the Head of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships of Zurich LiveWell, a digital health and wellbeing solution designed to engage and support corporates, employees, and individuals on their health journey.

Former Insurance Specialist at McKinsey & Company, Alessandro has 20 years of experience in the Insurance industry developed across countries and business segments.

He joined the Zurich Insurance Group in 2010, to manage several transformations and strategic projects across Business Units (e.g., UK, Italy, Spain, France, Hong Kong, Mexico).

Alessandro holds an Executive MBA degree from Quantic Business School and Technology, and a Master of Science from Bocconi University.

He’s also the founder of the Swiss Insurtech Hub, a non-profit association with the mission to digitize, innovate and shape the future of the Swiss insurance industry.

Marc holds a PhD degree in Bank Management, Finance, Risk & Regulatory Management from the University of Basel.
